Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Harbor City, California. This role involves providing specialized care in the labor and delivery department, supporting high-risk pregnancies, and assisting with neonatal resuscitation as needed. The position offers a full-time schedule with night shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Location: Harbor City, California
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per day, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Licensure, Certification, Registration: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Additional Certification: Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing or related field
- Five (5) or more years of recent labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years, with high-risk labor experience preferred
- One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years
- High Risk Obstetrics experience preferred
