We have a Level 1 Well Baby Nursery, so we typically care for patients who are 35 weeks and above. We do have patients that come in at earlier gestation than this and deliver (or not) and we will stabilize them and transfer. All staff members are required to work in all areas of the department. Prefer staff trained to LDRP, or comfortable working in MB/LD, can circulate and catch babies. Epic is our charting system. We do about 50/60 deliveries a month. Special Equipment : NCC C-EFM is the required EFM certification. It must be in-hand at the time of clinician submission for consideration of the job.AWHONN certs (intermediate or advanced were our previous education modules but do not meet the State EFM requirement, however, can be used as continuing ed hours)STABLE is required. #Tier2 Travel Compliance UMMS Policies: Local Rule : Unless job specifically says locals accepted , locals under 50 miles are not accepted (perm address 50+ miles from the hospital address). RTO: Max 7 days can be requested. If more than 4 consecutive days, an additional week must be added on to the back end on new contracts. Holiday RTO : Most locations and units will allow for one major holiday off during the winter season, refer to the individual job posting for specifics.
