Job Summary:
A Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in the Irving, TX area. This role involves providing specialized care in the labor and delivery unit, supporting a team dedicated to maternal and neonatal health. The assignment offers an opportunity to work nights, with a focus on high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Certifications and Education Requirements: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license only temporary licenses will not be accepted.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Start Date: 07/20/2026.
  • Shift Details: Nights, with 7A start times and flexibility for floating as needed.
  • Patient Ratios: 2:1 on the unit.
  • Staffing: One unit technician per shift and one unit secretary on day shifts.
  • Documentation System: Meditech.
  • Special Skills and Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN affiliation.
  • Preferred Skills: RNC certification and additional Meditech experience.
  • Procedures: Circulating C-sections.
  • Unit Guidelines: Follow floating, attendance, dress code, tattoo, and piercing policies as specified.
  • Additional Information: A team-oriented environment requiring adherence to uniform and health policies.
