Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage labor and delivery patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Perform and assist with high-risk deliveries, including VBAC/TOLAC and maternal emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols.
• Float between units as needed, adapting to various patient care settings and needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient and family care plans.
• Document patient information and updates using the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure with a compact license or eligibility to obtain a compact license.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Proficiency with Epic charting system.
• Advanced certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP.
• Ability to manage high-risk labor and delivery cases independently.
• Flexibility to work weekends and float to sister facilities as required.
