Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license in hand at submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience circulating and scrubbing for C-sections
• Ability to pass dysrhythmia testing during orientation
• Comfort working in higher-volume maternity care environments with patient ratios up to 1:6
• Willingness to complete pre-employment requirements on time
• First-time travelers may be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring, postpartum, and antepartum patients
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and high-risk obstetric procedures
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and support timely clinical interventions
• Perform thorough obstetric assessments and document care accurately in Epic
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and obstetric infusions as ordered
• Support patient education, recovery, and family-centered care
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to respond to changes in patient condition
• Float as needed within the assigned hospital network and high-risk OB settings
