Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn stages.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system.
• Administer medications, including starting and maintaining IVs, and manage pain effectively.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and C-sections, both circulatory and scrub roles.
• Float to other units as required to provide additional nursing support and assistance.
• Ensure compliance with infection control practices including PPE usage and isolation precautions.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Experience with electronic health records, specifically Epic, required.
• Previous travel nurse experience required.
• Versatile experience in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) settings.
