Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, L&D to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices.
• Assist with cesarean sections as a circulating nurse and manage postoperative care.
• Float to different units as necessary to meet facility needs and support interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions effectively, including high-risk deliveries.
• Conduct newborn assessments and facilitate mother/baby bonding practices.
• Educate parents on post-care instructions including breastfeeding and circumcision care.

Qualifications

• Current CA state RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system is required
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to float as needed and able to work weekends and holidays
