Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring EFM-NCC or AWHONN certification and night shift availability.

Details

  • Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital environment
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday required
  • Travelers are first to float
  • Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • EFM-NCC or AWHONN certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
  • Epic charting experience required

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients within a Labor and Delivery unit
  • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
  • Requested time off limited to a maximum of 10 days per contract, with no RTO permitted during the initial weeks of the assignment
  • Holiday coverage required on a rotating every-other-holiday basis
  • Former OhioHealth employees must have a 366-day separation from employment before returning as a traveler
  • PRN employees currently active with OhioHealth may not accept travel assignments simultaneously
  • Free parking available in any unrestricted space with no pass required
