Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 2 years of experience and AWHONN Intermediate certification at a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital.

Details

+ work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
Perform postpartum couplet care, antepartum care and procedures, and triage of obstetrical patients
Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:30-8:00)
Every other weekend (EOW) required
No on-call responsibilities
Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to an affiliate hospital nearby
Uses Centricity, Soarian, EDM, Lawson, and Kronos charting systems

Requirements

Active DC RN license required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
Postpartum couplet care experience preferred
2 supervisor references required for consideration

Additional Information

Scrubs provided by the facility
Local candidates accepted
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Limited to 1 RTO request during the assignment
Previous staff must have a 12-month break in service before returning to this facility
