Labor and Delivery unit in an 86-bed acute care hospital located in Sylva, NC
Adult and neonatal patient population with a focus on pregnancy-related diagnoses and labor management
Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
Competency in reading fetal heart rate tracings required
Knowledge of labor medications and the labor process required
Experience performing cervical exams required
SSN and date of birth required for considerationAdditional Information
Responsibilities include monitoring fetal heart rate tracings, administering labor medications, and performing cervical exams
Unit has 5 beds and is located on the 3rd floor
Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay
Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
