LDRP Registered Nurse (RN) - 13-Week Contract

Schedule

This position requires a Day shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with weekend requirements every third weekend. On-call duties are also required, consisting of two 12-hour shifts in a six-week period.

Job Description

The LDRP Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and support through postpartum recovery. The nurse will work in a unit with patient ratios of 1:2, 1:1, and 1:3 for couplets, ensuring high-quality care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
Conduct assessments and monitor the health status of patients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, and NRP certifications are required.
Epic experience is required.
South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license is required.
