Days 7a-7p, Every 3rd Weekend, On-Call (must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of being called in).
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide quality patient care in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient care standards and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments of patients.
- Establish a collaborative plan of care and communicate it to involved healthcare disciplines.
- Implement and evaluate the plan of care, modifying as needed based on patient reassessments.
- Complete documentation according to established standards.
- Assess patient readiness to learn and implement individualized education plans.
- Participate in nursing initiatives and serve on committees as needed.
- Provide age-appropriate care according to organizational guidelines.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in OB, Postpartum, and/or Labor & Delivery.
- Current unencumbered RN license in Ohio.
- BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications are required.
