Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position at a hospital in Elizabethtown, KY, working nights with weekend and holiday rotation.
Details
- Labor & Delivery (LDRP) unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
- 36 hours per week, 12 hours per day
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in medication administration, IV therapy, and medical equipment
- MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide comprehensive, patient- and family-centered care including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Coordinate individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Mentor nursing staff and students, and support orientation of new team members
- Actively participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, and documentation audits
- Holiday coverage is required on a rotation basis
