Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct bedside nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients in a unit with 10 LDR rooms and 2 OB Emergency Department beds
Maintain patient ratios of 2:1, with 1:1 or 2:1 for high-risk patients when stable
Assist with and circulate for cesarean sections, BTLs, and salpingectomies in the OR
Monitor fetal status using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition
Document patient care accurately using CPN (Centricity) and Meditech EMR systems
Float to postpartum or medical floor as needed (medical floor float in a tech capacity only)

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
ACLS certification (current)
NRP certification (current)
BLS certification (current)
OR Circulator experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

Bilingual language skills
Scrub tech skills
C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
