Job Summary:
Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) in Denver, Colorado. This position involves providing quality maternal and infant care on a busy postpartum floor. The RN will monitor vital signs, administer medications, educate new parents, and support patient recovery through compassionate care. The role requires adaptability and a collaborative approach within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Must have a valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN), completed BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications, and a minimum of one year of current acute care hospital postpartum or mother/baby experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Mother/Baby unit, flexibility with scheduling, and the ability to adapt quickly to new situations.
  • Additional Information: The unit consists of 23 beds with approximately 80 staff members, including RNs, CNAs, and nursery personnel. Typical procedures include vital signs monitoring, medication administration, perineal care, and parental education on newborn safety and bonding. A supportive team environment with advanced equipment and technology is available to enhance patient care.
