Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology Lab position requiring GA or compact RN license and conscious sedation certification.

Details

  • Work in the Interventional Radiology Lab of a hospital environment
  • AM shift, 10-hour shifts
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • 13-week assignment

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Minimum of 18 months of recent experience required
  • Conscious sedation certification required
  • Experience administering medications for Coronary CTA studies (including beta blockers) required
  • CVOR RN candidates must have 18 months minimum full-time experience in a CVOR setting of similar acuity within the last 3 years, with strong endovascular experience and proficiency rated 3-4 in cardiac and vascular procedures

Additional Information

  • Administer conscious sedation and medications, including beta blockers, for coronary CTA studies
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
  • Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for 1 year prior to returning to the health system; returning to the same facility requires an 18-month separation
  • RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, and a maximum of 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
