Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment preferred. NIR experience is preferred but not required. Experience with the following procedures: - Kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty - Central line/PICCs/ports - Fistulograms - IVC filter - Nephrostomy tubes - Nephroureteral stents - Peripheral leg cases - Coil embolization - Thoracentesis/paracentesis - CT biopsies, drains, etc. AAA intervention experience preferred. Description: The facility is a Level III Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and a Magnet designation. There are 933 beds in total. The department is staffed 24/7 with five rooms for procedures. An average of 40-50 patients are seen per day. Individuals need to have experience with the required patient types. RNs will give sedation unless anesthesia is involved, and they will monitor and chart. RT(R) professionals must scrub and pan simultaneously and have experience with general IR cases. Familiarity with charging/coding for procedures is preferred but not required. Support staff includes receptionists, lead techs, and tech specialists. Respiratory therapy and hospitalists are available 24/7. CNA/transporters are also available on-site. The facility uses EMR, specifically EPIC, preferred for RNs. IV pumps and medication dispensing equipment are available. Other equipment used includes IVUS, ultrasound, laser, and Bovie for some port removals. Travelers will be on call, with specific expectations outlined for weekdays and weekends. The manager is open to altering shift times as necessary. Holiday expectations and RTO approval are flexible.
