Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Allied Specialty: Interventional Radiology Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or completion of an accredited Radiology Interventional Program required. Certifications: BLS, ARRT registry required Must-Have: Procedure-based experience Description: The facility offers X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine, with Radiology Nursing support. The department performs an average of 8 procedures per day. Inpatient Census is typically at 100% capacity. The department will serve Emergency Department, Inpatient, Observation, and Outpatient patients. Anesthesia cases may be performed as needed. Various diagnoses and procedures are seen within the Interventional Radiology department. Staff operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no after-hours coverage or call on weeknights or weekends. The facility has 16 operating room suites and is TJC Stroke accredited. There are no floating requirements. Scrub color is hospital greens provided.
