Description: Interventional Radiology Tech ? About Facility: o 2001 Vail Ave. Charlotte, NC 28207 o Licensed Beds: 244 ? ED: 16 beds ? ICU: ~ 20 beds ? Progressive: ~40 beds ? No Trauma designation o Facility offers X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine, with Radiology Nursing support o TJC Stroke accredited o 16 OR suites o Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit ? Department Information: o Inpatient Census is typically 100% capacity - 224 o Department performs an average of 8 procedures/day o Currently staff day shift Mon-Fri 7a-4p, with no after hour coverage or call on weeknights or weekends o Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes ? Patient Types/Common Diagnoses/Procedures: o Department will serve ED, Inpatient, Observation, and Outpatient patients o Department will perform anesthesia cases as needed o Various diagnoses and procedures are seen within the IR department ? Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: o Completion of an ANA accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or completion of an accredited Radiology Interventional Program required. o BLS ?
