Impacting Patient Care
As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized interventional and neuro-interventional procedures using sterile technique. Responsibilities include preparing and administering contrast with power injectors as prescribed, applying radiation protection principles, verifying informed consent, completing pre/post procedural documentation and timeouts, assessing and initially managing contrast reactions, using PACS and EHR systems, maintaining inventory, and educating others. This role supports high standards of patient safety and procedural quality.
