Description: Interventional Radiology Tech ? About Facility: o 10628 Park Rd. Charlotte, NC 28210 o Total licensed beds are 373 (344 Acute & 29 Inpatient Rehab) ? ED = 30 beds ? ICU = 46 beds ? PCU = 40 beds ? Observation = 70 beds ? OR Suites = 14 o No trauma designation o We offer X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine, with Radiology Nursing support. o TJC Stroke accredited o Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit ? Department Information: o Average Inpatient Census is around 400 o Minimum Years of Experience required? 1 year o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes ? Patient Types/Common Diagnoses/Procedures: o ED, Inpatient units, Observation units, and Outpatient o Common Procedures: Embolizations: Visceral GI bleed, Uterine Artery, Prostate, Liver Chemo; Port insertion/removal, nephrostomy tube insertion, IVC filter placement/retrieval, Biliary stent placement/check/exchange, Vascular Stent placement, Angioplasty, Venacavagram, G/J tube insertion/check/exchange, Double J Stent placement, Suprapubic insertion, Fistulagram, Fistula declot, CO2 Angiogram, Venogram, Trifusion insertion, Pleurex Catheter insertion (Chest and Abdominal) PICC insertion/exchange, Perm catheter insertion, Vasacath insertion, Hickman insertion, Hohn insertion, Transjugular Liver Biopsy, Sheath Pull (Arterial and Venous) ?
