Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist. You will perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate imaging equipment, ensure quality assurance of imaging and film processing, and monitor patients during procedures. You will provide patient-centered care in IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Interventional Special Procedures in IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid settings (client requirement).
  • ARRT credential required: ARRT-CV, ARRT-R, or ARRT-VI; or RCIS (Registered CardioVascular Invasive Specialist).
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
  • Current state Radiologic Technologist license.
  • BLS certification required upon hire.
  • Competency in interventional/vascular procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection.
  • Able to function independently during procedures after orientation/competency and be placed on on-call rotation.
  • Must maintain current licenses and certifications and complete VI competencies as required by the department.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform procedures in IR, Vascular Hybrid, and Neuro-Interventional settings and to enter appropriate charges (SIM codes).
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, follow sterile technique, and work collaboratively with radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists.
  • Preferred: ACLS or ACLS Instructor certification.

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of imaging equipment, patient monitoring, and procedural support. The technologist performs a wide variety of technical tasks requiring independent judgment and initiative, sets up equipment, positions patients, prepares supplies, and documents procedures according to department standards. You will assist with maintenance of departmental records, compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards, and participate in training and in-service education as appropriate.


Additional Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Perform patient identification verification using two identifiers and comply with preprocedural verification and time-out protocols.
  • Prepare patients, supplies, and sterile fields and provide patient education and post-procedural instructions.
  • Maintain department stock levels, complete required documentation, and enter supply and procedure charges accurately.
  • Demonstrate appropriate patient communication including scripted introductions and phone etiquette.
  • Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement activities.
