Job Summary:
Infusion Nurse is needed in the New York area. This position involves developing, coordinating, and delivering evidence-based educational programs and competency validation for oncology nursing staff. The role also includes collaborating with nurse leadership, clinical specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to support orientation, professional development, and continuing education. It is based centrally and requires travel to select healthcare facilities.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, with no weekends, for 7.5 hours per day and a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license, primary source verification, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and Oncology Nurses Certification (ONCC) in Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy, and at least two years of medical-surgical chemotherapy infusion experience. Proficiency in intravenous (IV) insertion and phlebotomy skills is also required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy certification, preceptor experience, and experience working in oncology settings.
  • Additional Information: The position requires travel to select healthcare facilities, with details to be discussed during the interview. This role is based at a central office location and not at a dedicated cancer treatment facility.
