Job Summary:
Infusion Nurse in Washington, District of Columbia. This position involves providing specialized home infusion care, including administration of IV therapies and management of ports and PICC lines. The role requires the ability to work independently in patients' homes and to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Job Details:
- Position: Home Infusion RN
- Location: Washington, District of Columbia
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend on-call shifts every 7-8 weeks (Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 8:30 AM). No holidays and no float required.
- Duration: 13 weeks RN home visit assignments
- Shift Hours: 8 hours per day
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, highly proficient with IV placements, infusion therapies, ports, PICC lines, and managing patients independently in the field. Must have a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, working vehicle, and agree to comply with Maryland law for mandatory seat belt use.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior home infusion experience, home care experience, experience with remote client documentation and/or Epic.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be prepared to utilize organization-specific timekeeping systems and verify prior employment with any Johns Hopkins healthcare facilities, regardless of how long ago, to ensure rehire eligibility. Applicants must have 3 years of experience in infusion nursing or related field.
