Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Billings, MT, requiring an active MT or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.

Details

  • Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
  • Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
  • Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
  • On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
  • Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

  • Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
  • ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start date
  • ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for the unit
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for ICU patients
  • Performs health teaching, counseling, and coordinates patient referrals as needed
  • Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, documenting per hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • BSN and unit-appropriate specialty certification are preferred
  • Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
