Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intensive Care Coronary Unit position requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience, AHA certifications, and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Intensive Care Coronary Unit (ICU) setting within a hospital environment
- Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Weekend shifts required
- No on-call requirements
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- EMR: Epic (charting experience relevant)
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
- Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — all must not expire prior to start date
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care including health teaching, counseling, and treatment plan monitoring
- Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
- Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
