**Join Our Dynamic ICU Team – Night Shift Opportunities Await!** - **Position**: Registered Nurse - ICU - **Specialty**: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - **Shift**: Night 4x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) - **Experience Required**: Minimum of 2 years in ICU - **Patient Ratio**: 1:2 - **Certifications**: - ACLS, BLS* (preferred), NIHSS - **Skills** (preferred skills marked with *): - IV therapy - Arterial line management - Blood product administration - Central line care/management - PICC line management - Starting and maintaining IVs - Respiratory/Thoracic: - Assist with chest tube insertion/removal - BiPAP/CPAP management - Care of ventilated patient - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Suctioning (ETT, NT) - Ventilator management - Genitourinary/Renal: - Chronic/acute renal failure medications - Continuous IV sedation - Procedural sedation administration/monitoring - Titrate cardiac drips - Titrate vasoactive drips - Neurological: - CVA/acute stroke management - External ventricular drain (EVD)* - Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun - ICP monitoring* - Post neurosurgery management* - Gastrointestinal: - GI surgery - Professional Topics and Skills: - Infection prevention - Isolation precautions/PPE - Phlebotomy - Cardiac monitoring and emergency response: - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias - Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Endocrine/Metabolic: - IV insulin protocols - **Work Setting**: - Neuro Intensive Care Unit* - Surgical Intensive Care Unit* - **Scheduling**: - Other scheduling types available - Required weekend commitment: 6 shifts per schedule period - Floating may be required to MS, Stepdown, PCU, ER, CVICU (capped at 4 patients maximum) - **Orientation Hours**: 24 hours - **Patient Age Groups**: Adults - **Unit Capacity**: 32 rooms/beds - **Interdisciplinary Support**: - Physical Therapy - Respiratory Services - Interpretation Services - Phlebotomy - Radiology - Social Services - Rapid Response Teams - Pharmacy - Transportation Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
