Job Description:

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse with proficiency in ICP monitoring and ventriculostomies. The RN will provide care for trauma, neuro-strokes, and post-TPA patients in a fast-paced, 30-bed ICU/Trauma unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
  • Titrate vasopressors and sedation drips.
  • Interpret and monitor cardiac rhythm strips.
  • Participate in collaborative care with intensivists and respiratory therapists.
  • Float to PCU, CICU, tele, or med-surg units as required.

Requirements:

  • Current BLS and ACLS certification; PALS preferred.
  • 2-3 years of specialty experience in ICU/Trauma.
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
  • Completion of Dysrhythmia Test on day one.
  • Navy scrubs required for dress code.
