Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is located in San Francisco, California. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The position offers night shift hours and requires a dedicated professional to deliver quality patient care in a specialized unit of the healthcare provider.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: California RN license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, NIHSS, 3 years of experience in ICU, with 4 years preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, experience with arterial line management, ventilator management, stroke care, neuro intensive care, and related skills.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
  • Unit Details: Daily census of approximately 30 patients in a 36-bed unit. Care includes adult and geriatric patient populations, with interdisciplinary support from physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments.
  • Additional Information: The candidate must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and provide a 7-year work history verification. All compliance documents are due at least 10 days prior to the start date.
  • Submittal Requirements: Candidates must have uploaded valid California RN licensure and applicable certifications within the last two weeks, with references obtained within the last year. No separation time is required for returning staff/travelers, and eligibility is based on compliance with the outlined policies.
