Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position in Robbinsdale, MN, requiring Epic experience and the ability to work every weekend on night shifts.

Details

• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts
• Every weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Adult and geriatric ICU patient population
• May be required to float to other ICUs (TNICU, MICU) or Med/Surg units based on staffing needs
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with fresh open heart surgery patients preferred
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills preferred
• Experience with Impella and balloon pumps preferred
• Current skills checklist (within 1 year) pertinent to the specialty required
• 2 supervisory references with dates of employment required

Additional Information

• Responsible for holistic nursing care including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Develops and revises patient care plans and coordinates care across disciplines
• Delegates activities to other patient care providers as appropriate
• Participates in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration, as they may not be honored if submitted afterward
• 13-week contract
