Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing position is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role involves working night shifts within the ICU specialty, with a primary focus on providing high-quality critical care services. Candidates will be expected to manage patient care, potentially float to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU units, and handle various patient assignments within their skill set.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts with 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications and education as required for ICU nursing; one year of experience in critical care preferred but not required; must be able to start by 08/10/2026
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiovascular ICU and neurological ICU settings is preferred but not mandatory; previous experience with EPIC electronic health record system is advantageous
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The facility has specific preferences for experience with CVICU and Neuro ICU. The individual may be assigned to patient care in Med/Surg/IMC units if needed and must be prepared to float onsite or within a 40-mile radius as operationally required.
