Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse position is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This role involves providing critical patient care in a 24-bed intensive care environment within a healthcare facility that is nationally accredited and well-established in the community. The position offers an opportunity to work in a facility known for its comprehensive services and commitment to patient safety.
Job Details:
- Location: Las Cruces, NM
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Position: One ICU nurse needed for a temporary assignment starting on 07/20/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, current certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), and at least 1 year of experience in an ICU setting. Candidates must be located at least 60 miles or greater from the facility.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical record systems, knowledge of Critical Care Nursing standards, and additional certifications such as ACLS or TNCC are advantageous.
- Additional Information: All clinical staff working in New Mexico must complete fingerprinting and background checks prior to start date. Travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while waiting for background check results but must be supervised during this period.
