Job Summary:
This opportunity is for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse located in Lubbock, Texas. The position involves providing care for adult and geriatric patients within a busy short-term acute care facility. The role requires the ability to adapt to float between units and support a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit
- Location: Lubbock, Texas
- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts
- Hours: Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Experience: 1 year of ICU experience, with certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and OCNS.
- Schedule: Self-scheduling with 2 patient ratios during the day, 2 on nights, and 2 on weekends.
- Minimum Qualifications: Valid Texas or Compact State RN license, at least 1 year experience in ICU setting, certifications as listed, and relevant charting system experience with Epic.
- Special Requirements: Candidate must have experience managing ports, administering chemotherapy, and ventilator management among other skills.
- Additional Information: Position involves float to sister ICUs (SICU, CICU, NSICU), potential for increased patient ratios, and requiring commitment to working three out of five holidays. Candidates must have references covering the past year, and be able to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.
