Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Clyde, North Carolina. This role involves providing advanced patient care within a 12-bed ICU setting, focusing on adult patients with various diagnoses such as sepsis, COPD exacerbation, and hypertension urgency. The position is scheduled for day shifts with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours, and it is suitable for candidates with ICU experience.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Associates degree, current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, minimum of 1 year of ICU experience, located within 60 miles or more of Clyde, North Carolina.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ICU experience.
  • Float: Occasionally float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
  • Additional Information:
    • Unit Information: 12 beds, patient ratios approximately 2:1.
    • Equipment: EHR system is Paragon.
    • Position involves caring for adult patient population.
    • Dress Code: Navy scrubs; no excessive piercings or hair coloring.
    • Position created to replace permanent staff.
    • Upcoming start dates are 08/17/2026, 08/31/2026, and 09/14/2026.
