Job Summary:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Glenview, Illinois. This position involves providing advanced patient care in a cardiovascular-focused ICU setting, with a focus on managing complex cardiac and multi-system conditions. The role requires a highly skilled and adaptable HCP to meet the demands of a 12-hour night shift.

Job Details:

• Shift Hours: 12-hour Nights, minimum 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/16/2026
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois licensure, CPR, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; 3 years of experience in Cardiovascular ICU; epic experience at a cardiovascular-focused campus; valid driver's license may be required
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge experience is preferred
• Schedule: Nights with coverage required every other weekend; holidays on Memorial Day; 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Float: Float rotation may be required to Glenbrook Medical Intensive Care Unit, Evanston Intensive Care Unit, or Highland Park Intensive Care Unit if needed
• Additional Information:
  • Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, thermoregulation, cardiac procedures, intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella, post-cardiac surgery (not directly from the operating room), pre/post cardiac catheterization/intervention, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, valve replacement/repair, LVAD/RVAD, CVVHD/CRRT, IV therapy, medication management, CVA/acute stroke management, lumbar drains, ventilation management (including BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula), infection prevention, PPE use, phlebotomy, surgical wound care with drains/wound vac, suctioning, ventilator management.
  • Submission requirements include an updated resume, recent CV ICU skills checklist, reference from a supervisor within the last year, a passing EKG test score of 80% or above, and verification of Illinois licensure.
