**Join Our Dynamic ICU Team as a Registered Nurse!** - **Position:** Registered Nurse - **Specialty:** ICU - **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) - **Experience Required:** 2 years - **Patient Ratio:** 1:2 - **Certifications:** - ACLS - BLS* - NIHSS - **Skills:** - IV therapy - Arterial line management - Blood product administration - Central line care/management - PICC line management - Starting and maintaining IVs - Respiratory/Thoracic care - Assist with chest tube insertion/removal - BiPAP/CPAP management - Care of ventilated patients - High flow nasal cannula (HFNC) - Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) - Suctioning (ETT, NT) - Ventilator management - Genitourinary/Renal care - Chronic/acute renal failure management - Medications - Continuous IV sedation - Procedural sedation administration/monitoring - Titrate cardiac drips - Titrate vasoactive drips - Neurological care - CVA/acute stroke management - External ventricular drain (EVD)* - Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun - ICP monitoring* - Post-neurosurgery management* - Gastrointestinal care - GI surgery - Professional topics and skills - Infection prevention - Isolation precautions/PPE - Phlebotomy - Cardiac monitoring and emergency response - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias - Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Endocrine/metabolic care - IV insulin protocols - **Work Settings:** - Neuro Intensive Care Unit* - Surgical Intensive Care Unit* - **Additional Information:** - Float required (may float to MS, Stepdown, PCU, ER, CVICU) - Capped at 4 patients maximum while floating - Number of weekend shifts per contract: 6 - Orientation Hours: 24 - Patient Age Groups: Adults - Number of Rooms: 32 - Number of Beds: 32 - Interdisciplinary Support: - Physical Therapy - Respiratory Services - Interpretation Services - Phlebotomy - Radiology - Social Services - Rapid Response Teams - Pharmacy - Transportation - Special Procedures/Unit Details: - Schedule: 48 hours at straight time allowed **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
