• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 8, 2026
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights; every other weekend
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Call: Required
• Floating: Required within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940-$2,040
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:1-2

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Epic is preferred
• Strong critical care skills, including ventilator management and invasive monitoring
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and a collaborative team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Neuro ICU patients
• Monitor and manage patients with strokes, seizures, neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, and post-operative neurosurgical conditions
• Support invasive neuromonitoring, including ICP and EVD monitoring
• Care for mechanically ventilated patients and manage advanced ICU therapies
• Perform and assist with bedside procedures such as tracheostomy and PEG-related care
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care
