Responsibilities:
• Receive and accession surgical pathology specimens into Cerner
• Collect tissue blocks from Pathologists and Pathology Assistants
• Process tissue specimens for microscopic examination
• Perform embedding, microtomy, and staining procedures
• Prepare high-quality slides for Pathology, Cytology, and IHC testing
• Maintain laboratory quality standards and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with Pathologists, Cytotechnologists, and laboratory staff
