Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in Douglas, Georgia. This position involves performing general, vascular, and limited obstetric ultrasound procedures, including early gestations. The role requires working primarily during daytime shifts, with responsibilities on a rotating weekend schedule. The candidate will need to be available to start as soon as possible and must meet the certification and experience requirements outlined below.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends; may rotate every 4th weekend if a weekend traveler is not available.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification as an ARDMS Technologist; experience in general ultrasound, limited obstetric/early gestations, and vascular imaging preferred; no minimum years of experience required; must be located in or willing to commute to the specified location.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with obstetric and vascular ultrasound procedures is desirable.
  • Additional Information: On weekends, the ultrasound technologist will work independently. All candidates must pass a cotinine test (smoker status verification required). This facility maintains a smoke-free environment.
