Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Experience with triage and emergency department patient flow
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to care for patients across the lifespan, including pediatrics and adults
- Comfort working variable evening and night shifts
- Availability to work weekends as scheduled
- Ability to float within the hospital as needed to support unit needs
- Reliable transportation required for this travel nursing assignment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with a wide range of emergency and urgent care needs
- Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies according to clinical standards
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, including dysrhythmias and critical events
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support timely care
- Perform and document nursing interventions accurately in Epic
- Maintain safe, efficient patient flow while supporting a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Deliver compassionate emergency care to infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients
- Support emergency department procedures and unit initiatives as assigned
