Schedule
This is a night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. The schedule includes 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks, along with holiday coverage as needed.

Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department will provide high-quality care to patients experiencing a wide range of medical emergencies. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work under pressure, demonstrate critical thinking skills, and engage effectively with both patients and interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care, including management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic charting systems.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department.
- Active RN license is required.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required; CPI, PALS, and TNCC are preferred.
- Experience with Epic charting system is required.
- Previous charge nurse and Level 2 Trauma experience preferred.
- All candidates must pass a compliance EKG exam.
