Job Title: Electrophysiology Device Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ambulatory Device Tech Duration: 28 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in healthcare with experience in pacemaker/ICD interrogation and programming required. Background in cardiac device technology or electrophysiology preferred. Experience in cardiology or electrophysiology preferred. License: New York license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Strong communication and patient interaction skills. Demonstrated ability to educate staff, patients, and families in electrophysiological monitoring. Proficiency with EMR documentation and charge entry needed. Computer literacy is essential. Description: This position involves working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. The assignment duration is for 28 weeks. Candidates should have a background in cardiac device technology, electrophysiology, cardiology, or MRI operations. Proficiency with EMR documentation and charge entry is preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required. Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology technology or equivalent education and experience is preferred. Candidates must possess verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills. There is an emphasis on collaboration across departments and supporting patient care.
