Description
HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Electrophysiology Lab for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.
Job Description & Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
Location: Rochester, NY
Shift: Day Shift (No Weekends, Holidays, or Call)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
EMR: Epic
Minimum Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (license must be in hand)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Strong phlebotomy and IV insertion skills (mandatory competency)
- Must be able to scrub procedures and/or utilize the Micropace monitoring system for ablations

- Conduction Studies
- Pacemaker Insertion
- Insertion & Programming of AICDs (Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators)
- Scrub and Circulate Procedures
- Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias
- Sheath Removal and Patient Monitoring
- Activated Clotting Time (ACT)
- Topical Hemostasis (D-Stat, Chito-Seal, Syvek Patch)
- Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)
- Blood Product Administration
- Implanted Port Care & Maintenance
- Administration of Antihypertensives, Emergency Medications, IV Vasopressors, and Thrombolytics
Schedule
- Day Shift
- No weekends
- No holidays
- No call required
- Block scheduling may be accommodated based on unit needs but is not guaranteed
