Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an EP Lab position requiring both EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies, with a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

  • Work in an Invasive Cardiology unit comprised of 4 dedicated Cardiac Cath Labs and 2 dedicated Electrophysiology Labs with 23 prep/recovery bays
  • Unit performs over 6,000 procedures per year including complex coronary procedures, VAD/ECMO, structural heart procedures (TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping), complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implant and explant, cardioversion, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, peripheral intervention, and pulmonary embolectomy
  • Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
  • Candidates must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for
  • Floating required as needed
  • No weekends, call, or holiday requirements
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies required
  • Epic EMR experience required

  • Candidates undergo a clinical pre-screen review to determine clinical fit prior to manager interview
  • May care for COVID-positive patients

  • Maximum 7 days of RTO for the contract duration
  • 13-week contract assignment
