Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Seattle, Washington. This position involves providing urgent and specialized care in a high-volume emergency department environment. The role requires the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients, perform emergency procedures, and coordinate patient care effectively across various clinical scenarios.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in emergency nursing, active compact state license, certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, community hospital experience, trauma level I or II experience, and familiarity with EPIC charting system.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
- Skills: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilator care, central line care, continuous IV sedation, CVA management, emergency procedures including RSI and sedation, trauma care, and interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.
- Patient Care: Adult and pediatric emergency patients, ambulance triage, ED holding, and lobby triage.
- Additional Information: Must be open to floating between campuses, work three of the five major holidays, and comply with specific scheduling and RTO policies. Candidates cannot have worked as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem at a Providence facility within the last three months. References covering the last three years are required.
