Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Aiken, South Carolina. This position involves providing critical care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The role requires managing patients with complex nursing needs, including procedures such as medication titrations, arterial lines, blood transfusions, and chest tubes, while delivering safe, high-quality care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district; ER experience of at least 3 years; graduation from an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN degree (highly desired).
- Preferred Qualifications: CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- Additional Information: Candidates should reside at least 100 miles away from the facility. The emergency department handles a variety of patients, including urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and trauma cases, emphasizing critical nursing skills and patient safety.
