Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse opportunity in Honokaa, Hawaii. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of working independently and efficiently across various clinical procedures and protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours per shift; scheduled for 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: More than 2 years of experience as an ER Nurse, proficient IV skills, familiar with Stroke, STEMI, and Trauma activations, understands core measures and National Patient Safety Goals, familiar with AIDET and Press Ganey patient customer services. Valid Hawaii Nursing license or ability to obtain prior to start date. Certifications required include ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, and NIHSS. NCI and Procedural Sedation certifications are requested but not mandatory.
- Preferred Qualifications: NRP certification is preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend the employee health appointment scheduled on Friday. Floating to other units/departments may be required, based on clinical abilities and determined by nursing administration. Shifts are scheduled on an as-needed basis, with at least one weekend off per roster.
