Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position requiring TNCC/TNS certification and WI or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Room of a hospital and medical center setting
  • 13-week assignment on night shift with rotating weekends
  • 36 hours per week

Requirements

  • Active WI or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
  • TNCC or TNS certification required
  • Education verification required
  • Prior ER nursing experience required

Additional Information

  • Utilize the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient care
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments per approved nursing techniques, policies, and standards of care
  • Perform patient assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
  • Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care in coordination with physician orders
  • Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other departments in support of patients' longitudinal care plans
  • Utilize critical thinking to ensure patient safety and escalate concerns through proper channels
  • Engage in professional nursing continuum processes, unit practice activities, and peer review
