Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy, high-volume department that serves a diverse patient population. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to clinical protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum of 2 years experience as a nurse with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting; must have certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS before the start date.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center; prior HCA experience; teamwork mentality; ability to coach and give real-time feedback; flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.
• Additional Information: The department is known for teamwork and welcoming personalities, with staff experienced in working with a multi-cultural community representing over 120 languages. Must be open to floating within all ED sections for staffing needs. Documentation is managed through Cerner; unit uses Baxter pumps and GE monitors.
