Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing high-quality acute care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position offers night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

  • Location: Wichita, Kansas
  • Shift: Nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (12 hours)
  • Minimum Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Infant Hemodynamics (NIH), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as an Emergency Department (ED) RN in a hospital setting, with experience in traveling or large facility areas. Experience with Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ENPC certification, Meditech experience, and experience in large facilities exceeding 52 beds.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should have experience performing procedures such as IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatrics. The ideal candidate is adaptable, quick to learn, and capable of maintaining pace in a busy ER setting.
